Texto Expositivo: "El Grafeno, la más reciente solución"

Actualmente, hay muchísimos cambios en la actualidad en ámbitos sociales, tecnológicos, médicos y en lo que nos rodea, es por ello que hay una constante invención de productos tecnológicos y de todo tipo que aceleran la vida cotidiana. Entre ellos está el grafeno, un nuevo elemento que se ha presentado como un potencial beneficioso para mejorar la vida del ser humano.

Se propone presentar este elemento como “nuevo” porque fue sintetizado por 

vez primera en 2004 (aunque en el año 1938 los científicos y físicos ya tomaban consciencia de el), cuando sus descubridores de origen ruso Andre Geim y Konstantin Novoselov, lo desarrollaron y a raíz de ello ganaron un Premio Nobel de Física en 2010 por este particular hallazgo.

Con el descubrimiento de este material se le atribuyeron numerosas características: bidimensionalidad, rigidez, expansibilidad, flexibilidad, transparencia, conducción de electricidad, dureza, plegabilidad por lo que se le conectaron diversos usos para explotar a fondo sus cualidades. “El grafeno es el material más duro y delgado jamás hallado (es un millón de veces menos grueso que una hoja de papel); es también el mejor conductor de electricidad y de calor; además, tiene propiedades ópticas interesantes”, asegura Gerardo García Naumis, quien encabeza un equipo de investigadores dedicado a su estudio teórico en el Instituto de Física (IF) de la UNAM.

En relación a su uso se estudia que servirá para muchas áreas como la tecnología, la medicina, biomedicina, electrónica, informática, telefonía móvil, sector energético, industria del blindaje, automovilística, tratamiento de aguas, desarrollo de la ciencia en general. Pretende acelerar los objetos ahora conocidos entregándoles características futuristas que simplificarían nuestra vida cotidiana de manera sorprendente.

En detalle de todos los posibles usos mencionados se investiga que en el ámbito de la electrónica podría emplearse en la fabricación de micro chips o de transitores, los cuales son imprescindibles para prácticamente todos los dispositivos electrónicos. Además, por sus especiales características los componentes electrónicos de este material permitirán el desarrollo de dispositivos flexibles que podrán enrollarse o plegarse según las necesidades. Por otra parte, el uso del grafeno en la informática permitirá el desarrollo de ordenadores mucho más rápidos y con un menor consumo eléctrico que los actuales hechos a base de silicio, además se le atribuye la facultad de aumentar la capacidad de los discos duros. Igualmente en la telefonía móvil gracias la grafeno se crearía una nueva generación de dispositivos, con pantallas flexibles, plegables y táctiles, además podría influir favorablemente en la calidad y velocidad de las comunicaciones inalámbricas y lo fantástico de esto es que su tamaño estaría mil veces reducido a los actualmente conocidos. También, tendría incidencia positiva en el sector energético ya que al tener propiedad energéticas permitirá la creación de baterías de larga duración que apenas tardarán unos minutos en cargarse, así mismo en la energía renovable, paneles solares creados a base de grafeno serían más eficientes y permitirán una forma más ecológica de consumo energético. Incluso, se podría utilizar en la industria del blindaje por su particular dureza y capacidad de moldearse y a su ligereza se podrían crear chalecos antibalas, cascos y otros elementos de protección que se empelan en esta área, ocurre lo mismo con la industria automovilística por su resistencia evitando la cantidad de accidentes. También, tiene incidencia en la Industria del motor y los combustibles ya que podría hacer a ambos más ecológicos y resistentes. Enlistando más beneficios se suma el de la industria alimentaria ya que posibilitaría la creación de envases para alimentos más seguros e impermeables. Por último, el grafeno debido a su peculiar estructura de alta densidad permeable al agua podría ser útil para la desalinización del agua utilizando muy poco tiempo y a un bajo costo monetario. 

Otro uso que impacta son en los aspectos de medicina y biomedicina, específicamente contra el cáncer, con el fin de destruir las células enfermas intentando afectar lo menos posible a las células sanas. Así mismo se ha descubierto su aplicación en el ámbito de la biomedicina podría ser la creación de implantes neuronales que sustituyan a los tejidos orgánicos dañados. Además se cree que sus propiedades son capaces de crear implantes musculares y de huesos hechos por Grafeno y de la creación de implantes que realicen chequeos periódicos del estado del ADN y del organismo en general.

El más reciente estudioso del tema Konstantin Novoselov afirma que "es la membrana más fina posible, pues su grosor es de tan sólo un átomo, y tiene 

la apariencia de una tela transparente y flexible, a la par que extremadamente resistente y conductora de la electricidad". Es por ello que pretenden en un futuro muy cercano usar cada aspecto de el para combatir las diversidades que nuestra actualidad presenta. En conclusión, quedan a la luz los múltiples beneficios que esta material trae para la humanidad entera, desde enfermedades mortales hasta la limpieza del agua. Con la creación de este material se puede ayudar a todo aquel que así lo desee y se presenta como una novedad y solución a la nueva era cargada de tecnología que ya se presenta en nuestras vidas.

Podría ser muy beneficioso que comenzaran cuanto antes a desarrollar este nuevo elemento y sus múltiples beneficios, así podrían ayudar a mucha gente que desea vivir y no puede por tener cáncer o personas que van a la vanguardia de la tecnología y están ansiosos por conocer estos nuevos productos, para ello debieran también ser un requisito que se implantara y se conociera en todo el mundo por igual.

Personalmente, puedo inferir que este material debería ser rápidamente desarrollado ya que sería una gran solución a variadas problemáticas que nuestra sociedad arrastra. Podría salvar vidas y hacer nuestra vida aun poco más sana, más rápida en cuanto a la tecnología para estar un poco más cerca de los enormes pasos que esta da y que a veces no somos capaces de obtener por el alto precio que tiene para los países tercermundistas por ejemplo. Espero, que en un futuro no tan lejano, podamos gozar de estos instrumentos que finalmente nos ayudarán hasta en nuestra vida cotidiana.

My Favourite Month of the Year (telling an incident)

It was on second April, 2010. I was about to be fifteen years old. This day I was so excited because at the next day I would celerate my birthday. n the next day, I woke up earlier tan other days and I did not find anybody in my home, that surprised me because this day is important for me. the time passed ad nobody arrived home, I was so sad. At 02:00 p.m. of the afternoon I was angry and I prepared a little lunch just for me. At 05:00 p.m. my mother called me and she told me that I can go to my aunt's home. I was angry with her, so I did not have the best actittud.

When I arrive to my aunt's home my mother and all my family surprise me with a beautiful fifteen party. I became very happy because all my family was there and was a beautiful day for me, in the end. 


{In this paragraph I talk about a specific incident to talk about this I must use the past tense of the verbs because it was a past situation. This was a little more difficult because I must to order my ideas to express clearly what happened.}

My favourite month of the year (giving examples)

April is my favourite month of the year because the weather it is great for me. Sometimes it is cold and sometimes it is hot, so you can wear different types of clothes like shorts in some cases or a beautiful coat with a pair of boots.

Also is my favourite month because is my birthday and I feel alive, because all my family comes to my house in this special day. We laugh and talk about many things, we eat birthday's cake and other sweet things like cupcakes, lemon pie, apple küchen. I receive the love, good greeting and the best wishes for my new year of life.

{In this paragraph I talk about things that I do in a specific time of the year, I use daily things to describe and clarify what I do in my favourite month of the year. It was easier for me because I take things that I do and I ordered to give coherence and write.}

My favourite month of the year (giving details)

I love April because of the fresh air that indicate that the winter is coming. It is a month in which I have a cup of coffe or eat a sweet chocolate icecream because of the changes of the weather. 

When the sun is shinning in the sky I feel alive and so happy because the energy that the sun give it is the most beautiful that I can feel. I enjoy this month because of the year it is starting and I havee many thing to do and I designed all the projects that I do to my new year of life, like a new challenge in my studies or in my personal life.

Narration: "Oktapodi Love"

The story is about a couple of octopuses, one is orange and the other one is pink. they are hugging in the water. Suddenly, the pink octupus is taken out of water and a man puts in a kind of freezer. The orange octopus is in the water and he sees when the man takes out his partner.

The octopus saw a picture in the man's car of a octopus and a pair of knives and he imagines that his friend will be cut into pieces and he becomes so sad. The man starts to drive the car and the octopus inside the kitchen starts tu run to follow his friend.

The orange octopus achieved to jump and clim of the car and arrive to the co-pilot's door. When the man saw the octopus he yelled and he was so surprised. He hits the orange octopus but he did not move it. The octopus was scared but in the same place. The man hits him many times.

After a hard fight between the two octopuses and the man, he stop the car and the two octopuses go out of his car. The two octopuses want to scape and the angry man starts to follow them, he can't catch them and the two octopuses fall together into a pool's water.They jump so high from pool to pool while the man follows them in his car. The man achieved to take the two animals and he lost the control of the car, so they fall for the stairs.

The two animals achieved to scape from the hands of the man and he fall down with his car to the sea. The two octopuses stayed on the clothes lines of a house and they think that everything was in peace, but suddenly a seagull take the orange octopus flying to the sky. the pink octopus was angry and decides to jump to save to her friend.

{In this type of narrative paragraph I learn that to tell an incident you must use the past tense of the verb to clarify the ideas that are not happening now and use a lot of verbs to describe what does the characters. It was a little bit easy for me because I have been created more paragraphs before, so I knew how to do.}

Describing Physically a Special Person

My sister Francisca is 21 years old. She studies infirmary at the Arturo Prat University. she is a friendly, intelligent, nice, clever, loyal, concerned and talkative person in the good way. Her vocation is to help people so, her career is perfect for her. she is very concentrate in her things and she does many things, like study and work at the same time, for example. She is very close to all the family (grandparents, cousins, uncles and aunts), and everybody loves her way to be. Francisca is a very relaxed person and she never fights with anybody, she is very worried for the problems of her family in general and she helps all people that need her.

My sister is a beutiful woman; she is short, has round-faced, blod hair and she is well.built. Her skin color is white, her face give the sensation of lovely. Her beautiful brown eyes give always the truth. Her nose is small according to her face. Her lips are thick but with a beautiful heart shape. Francisca is beautiful inside and outside.

{In this type of describing paragraph I learn how use adjectives that describe people physically and phycologically. This was more easy for me because I knew a lot of adjectives so, I just selected that describe my special person and I write them all together using commas to separate this words.}

"Early Bird or Night Owl"

I am a night writer because I love the silence to concentrate in my writing and I don't find another moment because at night it is more relaxing and everyone sleeps in my home, for example. I prefer my room to write about my feelings, funny things, stories or something to some work to the University. Whrn it is night, I feel something special when I see the starts and the moonlight on the sky I feel peaceful and inspired. Whrn I am going to write about something I just need a pencil and a piece of peaper and obviously the entusiasm and motivation to express my feeling a lot. At night, I think in solutions to my problems and appear my deep feelings of everything (my family, myself, my classmates, my friends). Being a night writer is more grateful for me because when I read my stories or ideas on the next day I realize that I made a good job.


{In this paragraph I knew how order my ideas and knew the "Topic Sentence" to introduce my topic and explain more clearly all the paragraph, and the "Concluding Sentence" to give a good ending and cloncluding the ideas. It was difficult for me because I did not know about these important thing to write.}
